Jerritt Elliott, 2025

He was an All-City player at Palisades HS when his team went 36- 0 as a senior. He played college volleyball at Pepperdine (1986-88) and the University of Hawaii (1989-90). The 6-4 Elliott graduated from Cal State. Northridge, then worked there as the assistant men’s coach for the 1993 NCAA finalist team. Prior to that he coached at Palisades and the Westside Volleyball Club, then Marymount HS. He then went to USC as assistant coach to Lisa Love and was interim head coach for 1999-2000 when his Trojan team went to the NCAA Volley Four after being the Pac-10 champs and he was Coach of the Year.

Jerritt became the head coach at Texas in 2001 and at UT he has won three NCAA titles (2012, 2022, 2023), including the AVCA Coach of the Year in 2012, been to six Volley Fours, and produced numerous All-Americans. Internationally, he has coached the USA Junior National and the USA Volleyball A2 teams. He has over 600 wins in his career, and a winning percentage over .800, which ranks him in the top five of all-time.
