Kim Ruddins, 2026

She was a HS All-City player at Westchester as a setter-hitter, who then became a three-time All-American at USC playing for 2025 HOF inductee Chuck Erbe and was selected as an all-time Trojan great from 1981-85 with her #3 jersey hanging in the Galen Center. The 5-11 Ruddins was the back-up setter on the 1981 first NCAA title team and then helped the 1982 team to a NCAA runner-up finish. She was a two-time USA Olympian, as part of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics silver medal team, which won the first USA medal all-time, and then played for the USA at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. In between she finished her USC career setting for the Trojans in 1984 and then for the 1985 Volleyball Four team, her third Volley Four appearance in four college seasons. She won silver and bronze medals at the 1983 and 1987 Pan-American Games and started representing the USA in 1979 at the Pac-Rim tournament. She also played at the 1981 and 1983 World University Games. She continued playing internationally through 1995. She was inducted into the Los Angeles City Athletics Hall of Fame as part of the first charter class in 2013. Today she is a stainability manager for city of Ontario.
