Alix Klineman, 2025

She was the 2006 Gatorade National HS Player of the Year at Mira Costa HS and the 2005 and 2006 California State Player of the Year in leading her team to the three straight CIF and California State Titles. She was the 2004 and 2006 State MVP, playing for SCIVBHOFer DaeLea Aldrich. Alix won gold with the USA Junior Team at the 2004 and 2006 NORCECA Championships. She was also selected in 2006 as the HS Female Athlete of the Year for the So. Calif. Jewish Sports HOF. She took her 6-5 outside hitting talents to Stanford where she was the 2007 Pac-10 and then AVCA National Freshman of the Year when she led the Cardinal to the NCAA finals and went on to be the 2010 Volleyball Magazine National College Player of the Year. She was a rare four-time All-American, playing in two NCAA finals. She played for the USA at the 2011 Pan-American Games where she won bronze and just missed making the 2016 Rio Indoor Olympic Team. She then turned a professional beach volleyball career which was highlighted by winning the 2020/21 Olympic Beach Gold Medal in Tokyo with partner and our HOFer April Ross, among 19 beach wins before retiring. Her brother Max played at UCSB and sister Maddy at UCLA.
